Blessings of Home Whitewash Technique - Thank you Card

Bruno and Kylie Bertucci's Demonstrator Training Program 2021-2022

Blog Hop for the Month of December

Thank you for joining us for our Stampin' Up!® Demonstrator Training Program Monthly Blog Hop!

You may be starting here or have come from another blog - either way you can find the link list at the bottom of this post so that you can see every blog post and idea today.

So remember if you place an order, or join my Stampin' Up!® community in December 2021 you will receive a card made from this stamp set, (not necessarily this style!) to thank you for your purchase.

For this Blog Hop, we are focusing on the theme, THANK YOU. These are cards we would send out to team members and customers letting them know we appreciate them. This is my example for December.

I watched a video by Lisa Freeman who showed us the whitewash technique. I've seen this before but it was nice to be reminded of the technique, because I had forgotten about it.

I had forgotten that November's card for the Blog Hop was done with the same stamp set, but oh, well. This uses the other floral cluster, and the technique is different, so I'm still focusing on it for December as well.

I used the Blessings of Home stamp set, available in Stampin' Up!®'s new January - June Mini Catalogue.
As a demonstrator we can pre-order from the new catalogue in December, but this stamp set was ordered for November's OnStage. If you join my team in December, you can still pre-order before any of your friends do!
I heat embossed the flowers with gold, then took an aqua painter and "whitewashed" the flowers with Stampin' Up! White Craft ink, and heat embossed the sentiment with gold.
I then used a blending brush and lightly brushed Blushing Bride ink over the white, following up with a dauber and Blushing Bride in the centres.
I used Crumb Cake and Blushing Bride cardstocks.
