Mystery Monday Stamping with TX Sharon Armstrong

This is a card I made during a Mystery Monday Stamping FaceBook live video cardmaking session with TX Sharon Armstrong in Texas. I was late tuning in, and caught Clue #2 but did not know how long it had been on the screen, or how long I had left to adhere the 8 1-inch squares. One of the other ladies, said in the chat, that she was late and her squares were crooked. I added that I had been late too and my squares were crooked too. Sharon said she wanted us to post the cards , crooked squares and all, so I did, so I am posting it here, too. This is what happens when you hurry! I will save it as a prototype.

Oh, I also de-bossed the layer instead of embossing it, and Sharon used it as learning experience for everyone. She told me to emboss it again, putting it into the embossing folder the correct way and it will come out right - and it did!

To make the card, 8 1-inch squares were cut from the new DSP (Designer Series Paper) called Fine Art Floral Designer Series Paper found on page 33 of Stampin' Up!'s Mini Catalogue, January - June 2021. I chose coordinating colours of cardstock. The sentiment came from the retiring stamp set, A Little Lace. It will retire when the new catalogue releases on May 4, 2021.

Here is another card I made following the clues on Mystery Monday Stamping. This time I took my time and used a ruler. The soft green card base is the new Soft Succulent card stock being released with the new catalogue on May 4th. The patterned paper is from Stampin' Up! but is retired. For Mystery Monday Stamping sessions, I use old DSP or scraps from current papers.
