My HOPE Journal and Other Hope Related Projects

My Hope Journal.

Hope is a  powerful mindset.

I have a friend, Dr. Lenora LeMay, who is a hope-focused practitioner and scholar. In one of her videos she suggested making a "Hope Box". Well, I have enough boxes lying around and I love making albums, so I made a Hope Album instead. In this time of Covid, we all need Hope. Hope that this will end soon. Hope that we will stay well. Hope that those who have lost family members can continue on in their lives with their strength from faith and loved ones. My album has pictures of things that give me pleasure, and that give me hope . The cover photo below is linked to the FaceBook video. The YouTube video has no sound for some reason, which I don't know the answer to!

Hope Cards

Here are some greeting cards I made using the Power of Hope stamp set that is now retired.

A Hope Canvas

Then, a week or so later, Lenora suggested to her readers that step it up a bit, and post an image, an idea, or something else that gave us hope, to her FaceBook page. I came up with this canvas.

This canvas goes from Winter to Summer. The caption reads "From the cold of winter, flowers of spring bring HOPE of brighter days." The deer come from Stampin' Up's Nature's Beauty stamp set, which is available in the current catalogue and will be in the new one coming out on May 4, 2021, as well. The tulips are from Gina K Designs. The other elements are from my stash.
